Rockets at ready from end to end

A ROCKET relay to signal that countryside dwellers are on their way to London is planned for the week before the Liberty and Livelihood March.

The Countryside Alliance is planning the relay, which will also symbolise the unified unrest in the countryside. It will take place on the same day as its beacon campaign, on Sept 16.

The aim is to start the relay in Scotland and then let it travel south, igniting rockets all the way to London.

Rockets are available, from county beacon organisers, in packs of two for a cost of £10. Each pack contains a coloured burst rocket and a bang rocket.
