Rural Scots fear rule by townies

RURAL voters in Scotland fear that the new Scottish parliament will be dominated by politicians from the towns and cities, reports The Daily Telegraph.

The paper says that landowners and estate workers are worried that “meddling with the countryside” will become a populist issue.
