Rustons denies rumour

RUSTONS Engineering is keen to dispel rumours that there will be no Mengele SH40 trailed forage harvesters available for this spring season.

Such rumours, say the company, were incited by the financial collapse of the Bidell Group which owned Mengele.

A new company, Eberhardt Mengele Productions was formed in spring last year to manufacture the Mengele range of products – and the first load of trailed harvesters has now been delivered to Recos Huntingdon factory.

"So," says company boss, Richard Ruston, "we do have Mengele trailed forage harvesters available – and our technicians have been working at their German production site to ensure their specification meets UK requirements." &#42
