Safety officials target Argyllshire

HEALTH and safety inspectors read the riot act in Argyllshire last month with 62 enforcement notices served in the period.

Inspectors required work to stop immediately in 19 cases.

Areas of concern included the lack of power take-off guards on dangerous machinery, the lack of helmets worn by quad-bike users, and unfenced slurry lagoons or sheep dippers.
