Scot for Brussels
THE Scottish NFU is to fill a vacancy in the British Agricultural Bureau in Brussels. The appointment will be for three years after which the European policy adviser will return to a senior post within the union.
Five other posts are being advertised. One is for an adviser to develop contacts and co-ordinate lobbying within the new Scottish Parliament. The union is also seeking three regional policy advisers and an agricultural policy manager to oversee regional activity following union restructuring. A graduate trainee programme is another initiative being started this year.
