Scottish farms face safety blitz

THE Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is targeting farms in Argyllshire for a week-long safety blitz starting from the 24 May.

HSE officials will carry out a series of intensive inspections with the aim of preventing accidents and advising farmers and workers on safe working practices.

Inspectors will not give warning of visits to individual farms.
