Scottish Milk campaigns for EU subsidy

SCOTTISH MILK has launched a campaign against the possible withdrawal of the European Union (EU) subsidy for primary school milk.

Concern among co-operative members has arisen about the threat after a report suggested it was not an effective way of promoting milk.

They have also been concerned about aggressive marketing from makers of carbonated drinks to the educational sector.
