SDF widens choice of Agrotron MK3s
SAME Deutz-Fahr has expanded its Agrotron MK3 tractor range by introducing the 106, 110 and 115 models together with the range-topping 175, 200, 230 and 260 machines.
Top and tailing the 120hp to 165hp models launched at last years Cereals event, the tractors are powered by 4.7lt and 7.1lt turbocharged blocks.
The engines have electronic engine management control and can be adapted to run on bio-diesel, says SDF. A new armrest control console with three switches can be used to set optimum power, torque and fuel consumption, according to workload.
For work in dusty conditions, engines up to 150hp can be specified with a "Cleanfix" radiator cleaning system.
Pressing a switch in the cab reverses the engine fan blades to blast air back through the radiator and intake grills before they automatically return to their usual cooling position.
Other new features include automatic disengagement of the pto when the three-point linkage is raised above a pre-set limit, while automatic wheelslip control now comes with slippage percentage adjustment.
Rear linkage capacity is rated from 9240-10,500kg depending on model. *
