Semi-mounted reversible joins Kuhn ploughs

AFTER the launch of its new Venta drill range, Kuhn has added a semi-mounted reversible plough to its selection of tillage machinery.

Available in five- to eight-furrow formats, the Vari-Manager offers hydraulic variable width adjustment from 300mm to 500mm.

An articulation point with two land wheels between the front and rear beams is designed to allow the plough to follow undulating terrain.

Leg protection is provided through a non-stop hydraulic (NSH) auto-reset system, with shear bolts protecting the skimmers.

For plough turnover, the Vari-Manager is equipped with two direct acting horizontal hydraulic rams and a hydraulic levelling lock.

Hydraulic sequencing, which enables the plough to be automatically lifted out of work and reversed, is activated by operating a single lever.

Specification also includes a one-piece heavy-duty headstock – built for tractors up to 240hp and hydraulic offset adjustment which can be varied up to 300mm.

Prices range from £19,298 to £26,235. &#42

Hydraulic variable width and offset adjustment are among the features available on Kuhns Vari-Manager semi-mounted reversible plough.
