Sheep farming ‘devastates’ UK landscape


SHEEP farming “devastates” the natural environment in Britain, says the director of Animal Aid in a letter to The Guardian.

Responding to a story in the papers Saturday edition about low sheep prices, Andrew Tyler says sheep farming provides little in the way of rural employment.

He urges the ending of support for an “unsustainable business”.
