Soil moisture metered into computer

SOIL moisture analysis can now be recorded and logged onto the PC using ADCs HydroSense digital meter.

Using an automatic tensiometer to determine how much water is in the soil, the battery powered meter is waterproof and can be left at external sites. Recording times can be selected by the user and moisture level is shown in millibars.

ADC says the meter can withstand temperatures between -20C to 70C, and has the capacity to store 1200 readings.

The HydroSense meter costs about £1000. (01992-469638).
