Solicitor quizzed over defiance of hunting ban
THE Solicitors Practice Unit is investigating Adam Tedstone, a leading solicitor with the Countryside Alliance, for saying on television he intended tobreak the law if hunting were banned.
Tedstone, liaison for the Alliance and a hunter with the Albrighton, could lose his right to practise or face a fine of up to £5,000 if the investigators are not satisfied with his explanation.
The solicitor says he has broken no professional rules because any ban would break European law and should be ignored.
