Sprayer training dates confirmed
AGROVISTA HAVE released the dates for their training courses designed to help farmers and spray operators comply with the requirements of the Voluntary Initiative (VI).
Information on which pesticides to be especially careful with, handling areas, and recent changes to product labels are some of the topics covered by the courses.
The courses will be held at 30 venues across the country between November 30 and February 9 2005.
They aim to address the subject of H2OK? Think Water – the VI‘s campaign for promoting best practice when using crop protection products.
It is hoped each course will attract an average of 40-45 people, according to Agrovista‘s marketing executive, Moira Kirby.
The workshops will attract 8 CPD points and is eligible for both new National Register of Spray Operators (NRoSO) and the BASIS Professional Register.
