Stardale Stella tops Lancaster

JIM Burrows and Sons Stardale Stella 81st took both the championship and the days top price of 1800gns at the Lancashire and Adjacent Counties Holstein Friesian Clubs latest show and sale at Lancaster.

By Crichel Inspiration and out of an Ullswater Shareholder cow, she had been calved two weeks and was bought by D Rae, Lockerbie.

Reserve title, under judge Michael Dennison (Denmire), was awarded to W Huddleston and Sons second calver Salter Treasure 6th, a Jydens Willow daughter from their herd at Hornby, Lancaster.

Buyers were A T and D J Burrow, Lancaster.
