PLANT growth stimulant Crop-Set is to get a new start in the UK, according to Stamford-based distributor Improcrop.
The product is suitable for use on both conventional and organic potato crops and boosts yields dramatically, says managing director, Geoff Frank. Trial digs on UK crops treated last year showed an average 23% yield increase.
But SACs Rob Clayton says that in two other years work Crop-Set gave no significant improvements in either yield or tuber numbers. *
