Stolen sheep returned unharmed
By Nigel Burnham
THIRTY sheep stolen from a farm at Longdon, Worcestershire, were mysteriously returned unscathed after four days, police said
Farmers Simon and Beverley Saunder scoured the flat marshes around their farm after the sheep, worth 1000, were taken from a well-fenced field.
A police spokesman said there was no indication of where the sheep had been.
But he confirmed that they appeared to have been stolen and returned by rustlers pricked by their guilty consciences.
