Tea prices firm on shortfall
TEA prices are expected to remain firm on the back of a shortfall in production by Kenya and India.
Both Kenya and India suffered heavy rainfall. Tea prices are firming up at the main auction centres as the trade anticipates tight supply in the coming months.
Supplies have come under pressure despite Russia and Pakistan buying less tea than normal at different auction centres.
