The Scotsman celebrates Royal Highland

THE SCOTSMAN marks the forthcoming Royal Highland Show with a four-page special section.

Machinery manufacturers and dealers are looking to the exhibition to liven up the market despite the general air of doom and gloom hanging over the industry.

Show organisers believe they have done the dairy industry justice with a new pavilion which will feature a range of cheeses and butter from creameries, dairies and farmhouse makers throughout the UK.

The paper also reports on the embattled beef industry, as well as providing an outline of the 66 new food products from 27 companies which will make their market debut.
