THREE sons of Mascot, Bellwood and Aerostar have recently joined Supersires stud.
From a Blackstar dam, Carol Mascot Tonico is said to produce daughters (see pic) with high milk and exceptional udders. He offers 1083kg of milk, 19.5kg fat and 23.5kg protein with £48 PIN and £59 PLI. Tonico semen costs £25/straw.
Char a den Bellwood Lore improves legs and feet and is easy-calving, according to the company. His proof shows 841kg milk, 19.6kg fat and 20.3kg protein, £46 PIN and £51 PLI: Semen costs £21/straw.
The third new bull, Hartline Aerostar Theo is also said to be easy-calving and scores 2.36 for type merit. He offers 691kg milk, 11.8kg fat and 19.6kg protein. His PIN and PLI are both £44 and semen costs £16/straw (01803-862444, fax 01803-862955).
