Tomato prices hit Hazlewood Foods
HAZLEWOOD Foods was hit by weak tomato prices in last years cool wet summer, while the second half was affected by a reorganisation to produce new lines in ready meals.
The result of these factors is expected to produce a flat result for the year, when it reports this week.
Underlying sales growth is thought to have between 5% and 6%. The consensus of analysts forecasts suggests investors should expect £40.2 million pre-tax.
