Top of the cobs on sale for 1998

MAIZE variety Goldis, which had the highest yield in any early variety in NIAB listings, will be available for 1998 sowing, says British Seed Houses.

It is said to be have early vigour, will not suffer a yield penalty because of its earliness and has good standing power.
