Travel scholarships
APPLICATIONS for the Jack Wright Memorial Trusts 1998 Travel Scholarships are being invited.
The scholarships are intended for people at an early stage in their professional careers who wish to spend a few weeks overseas studying aspects of water management or irrigation.
Awards have values up to £750. In addition, there is a new UK Irrigation Association travel scholarship with a value of £500. Up to four awards are made annually and last years winners travelled to Uganda, Zimbabwe and Canada.
