Two more Deeres here

JOHN Deeres 6010 S E tractor range now has two new members – the 105hp 6510 and the turbocharged 115hp 6610.

Both models have 6-cylinder, 6.8-litre engines and, according to John Deere, are suitable for loader, pto work and general utility use.

As with other models in the range, the 6610 and 6510 employ the manufacturers full-frame design which provides independent engine mounting and convenient attachment of front loaders and other equipment.

In terms of transmission, options include the 30kph 12 x 12 SyncroPlus synchronised version, and the 30 or 40kph Power Reverser which provides 16 x 16 synchronised gears. This latter option allows clutchless and brake-free operation when changing directions.

Meanwhile, for those looking for a powershift option, the 16 x 16 PowrQuad transmission has four powershift gears and a right hand power reverser.

Hydraulic gear comprises a load sensing system with a constant flow gear type pump delivering a flow rate of 54 litres/min. Maximum lift capacity of the rear linkage is 5362kg on the 6510 and 6014kg on the 6610.

Prices start at £40,351 for the four wheel drive 6510 – two wheel drive can be specified – and £43,258 for the 6610.
