RITCHIE Farm Equipment says the Q crate version of the original Continental Cattle Crate retains all the benefits of the previous model but is easier and quieter to operate.

It incorporates a new yoke door catch, which eliminates timing errors ensuring cattle of all sizes are securely held. Animals can leave the crate either forwards or backwards.

The crate with a hot dipped galvanised finish costs £1465. Optional extras include a clipper arm costing a further £69, and an optional head restraint frame costing £94 (01307-462271, fax 01307-464081).
