US scientists produce potato that protects against cholera

AMERICAN scientists have produced potatoes that protect against cholera with
the aid of genetic engineering.

Food-based vaccines can be used to provide regular booster shots.

The team from Loma Linda University, California, say other disease may also
be prevented in the same way.
