US set for record cranberry harvest

BRAZILS farmers, crippled by debt, staged a protest outside Congress this week.

Thousands called on deputies to vote in favour of a bill that would write off up to 60% of their debts.

The measure has already been approved by the lower houses agriculture committee.

The government is offering debt relief of up to 15%.
