Vaccine combats gut worms in sheep

SCIENTISTS at the Edinburgh-based Moredun Reseach Institute have developed a vaccine to combat bloodsucking gut worms.

The intestinal hookworms or roundworms are significant parasites of grazing livestock and man. The institute has already vaccinated sheep.
