Variable grass slitter

BEING able to adjust the rotor angle on Coopers grass slitter alters the size of the slit opening and, as a result, varies the rate of take-up following an application of slurry.

Called the Aeravator, the machine uses a series of rotor rings – with five blades/ring – across its working width to achieve penetration depths up to 19cm (7.5in), depending on the amount of ballast used.

Working widths are from 1.2m (4ft) to 3.05m (10ft) and a rear roller can be fitted where a tidy finish is required after slitting. The 3m machine is priced from £2350.
