Vicon’s completely revamped Extra
mower-conditioners made their debut at ScotGrass.
On mounted units like this 632 T there is one feature that is strikingly different – the cranked mounting arm. This couples to the headstock at a low pivot point and runs out to almost the centre of the mower’s width.
A parallelogram linkage means that the disc-bed and conditioner unit then follow in a ‘pull-type’ arrangement.
According to Vicon, this means that, in combination with hydro-pneumatic suspension and bed pressure control, contour-following is vastly improved.
