Video: Horsch machinery on show at PX Farms’ event

PX Farms attracted a crowd of 3,000 visitors to its first-ever open day this week, which also included a live demonstration of Horsch machinery – featuring both current and new models.

Hosted by arable farmer and Nuffield scholar James Peck, the event on 25 June showcased a comprehensive display of Horsch’s latest lineup of sprayers, fertiliser spreaders and drills.

The video shows a line-up of Horsch machinery, starting with the new Xeric FS, a 36m twin-axle pneumatic fertiliser spreader with a 14,000-litre capacity. Next is the Leeb 6.230 VT self-propelled sprayer, offering variable track adjustment and up to 6,000-litre tank capacity.

The Pronto 7 DC cultivator seeder is effective in min-till and conventional seed-beds with precise seed placement.

Also featured are the Sprinter 12.25 SC tine seeder and the Avatar 12.25 SD direct disc seeder, both offering 12m working widths and versatile seeding options.

William Flittner, product and marketing specialist at Horsch UK, said: “It was a pleasure for my colleagues from the UK and Germany and me to be invited by James Peck to the inaugural PX Farms open day, alongside fellow suppliers.

“We thoroughly enjoyed reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new contacts from across the farming community and beyond. It was a valuable opportunity to share our story and take part in meaningful conversations about the future of our industry.”
