MOST recent addition to the Reekie range of harvesting equipment is the 2170 – a 1700mm (67in) wide machine equipped with the firms latest web development called Duraweb. Of moulded construction, the Duraweb system avoids the riveted web format of previous models, eliminating exposed metal ends on the web rods which could lead to crop damage, says the company. The web also features an improved joining link which is said to simplify web connection and reduce down time. Price of the Reekie 2170 harvester with Duraweb is from £57,100.
