Wildlife bill in Queen’s Speech?

A WILDLIFE bill, strengthening the protection for native animals, plants and habitats, is back in the running for a place in the Queens Speech this autumn.

PM Tony Blair has ordered that the bill, which had been dropped, should be reinstated in the list vying for parliamentary time.

The legislation could include right-to-roam provisions.
