Bifenox off-label?

bifenox off-label?

AN OFF-LABEL application to use Bifenox as a charlock and cranesbill killer in oilseed rape is being pursued by an individual farmer, to benefit the many crops that missed out on broad-leaved weed control last autumn. The problem is exacerbated by the loss of Benazalox. But while approval is keenly awaited, a March/April decision could be too late for this year’s crop.

spud quality

POTATO quality is holding up in store, despite earlier concerns. But recent mild, wet weather means ambient stores require extra vigilance, says the British Potato Council. Premature sprouting is causing some skin finish and crop breakdown in ambient stores, resulting in early movement. So far 40ha of earlies have been planted in Cornwall.
