Look after straw stock

With straw and hay prices rocketing, farmers are warned to protect stacks to prevent losses occurring.

Losses of between 5% and 30% can occur according to the Profitable Farming Company, and when it typically costs 225 to cover a stack of 170 conventional bales the investment soon pays for itself in wastage saved.
