Warwickshire farmer David Brightman on Gaydon Farm said things were not going too bad so far this harvest.
Yields of Canberra oilseed rape were better than average considering the season, he said.
He was half way through cutting Malacca and Einstein wheat. Mr Brightman said the first wheats were looking reasonable, but the second wheats did not look so good due to the wet conditions when drilling last autumn.
He said he was happy with how things were going although was concerned about forecast rain.
