Nigel Padbury, seeds and marketing manager, says: “By enabling farmers to match variety characteristics to farm conditions, the data means that growers can optimise the returns they achieve.”
“Our network of trial sites around the country is unique among speciality arable suppliers.
“In addition to yield, data is collected on a range of important crop characteristics such as maturity, height, vigour and grain quality.
Additional varieties are set to enter the trials each year, so the options for those seeking to extend their rotations continue to increase.
The Variety Assessment Tables can be accessed and downloaded from the Premium Crops website.
Premium Crops has also released new contracts to support growers considering alternative spring and autumn break crop options.
