Survey aims to gauge extent of wheat sprouting problems

Did any of your wheat crops suffer from pre-harvest sprouting this year? If so, the HGCA would like to hear from you.
The Recommended Lists team wants to hear from any growers or agronomists with crops affected to gauge the extent of the problem and compare artificial tests with field experience.
There were several reports of wheat crops that had sprouted in the ear, particularly in East Anglia.
Any growers who experienced problems should email rl@hgca.com with the following details:
- Variety or varieties involved and the severity of the problem
- Other varieties which did not sprout in similar circumstances
- Brief details of the crop and weather prior to harvest. E.g. how long harvest was delayed and what the rainfall pattern was in the days immediately before harvest
- Include a contact number
