Collaborative approach to renewable heat
Land agent Carter Jonas has teamed up with Saffery Champness accountants and biomass boiler specialist Rural Energy to offer an advice service for people interested in investing in biomass heating.
Launched at this week’s CLA Game Fair (22-24 July), the “one stop shop” will offer landowners and other investors advice on surveys, planning, technical operation and taxation. It has been timed to coincide with the start of the government’s Renewable Heat Incentive, due to begin this autumn.
“Identifying and securing the full benefit the RHI offers requires comprehensive advice from across the business spectrum and this is why we have teamed up with Rural Energy and Saffery Champness,” said Carter Jonas rural surveyor, Iain Nott.
“Rural and commercial property and business interests are well-placed to capitalise on the opportunities offered by biomass heating.”
