Farmers Apprentice web TV stars: Michael
With less than a week before the first of our Farmers Apprentice web TV episodes begins, check out the finalists who will be the stars of the show.
The show follows the week-long bootcamp which put our finalists through their paces to find a winner of the £10K prize money.
Meet Michael.
Michael Scott is a beef and dairy farmer in Scotland. Farming is not his only experience though, having played rugby to international level for Scotland.
He’d like to develop his start-up agricultural recruitment business and would use the prize money on improving the genetics of his herd.
He summed up his bootcamp experience as “Teamwork, focus, a laugh”.
His highlight of the week was doing a farm walk with children. He loved it as he says he’s good with kids and there’s “nothing better than getting the excited happy smile out of a child”. Now if that doesn’t steal a girl’s heart I don’t know what will.
But come on, surely there’s a low point somewhere? Not that Michael could think of, unless, getting only 45 minutes sleep on the Thursday night at bootcamp counts.
See sleepy Michael on Apprentice TV soon.
