Farmers Apprentice web TV stars: Sophie
With less than a week before the first of our Farmers Apprentice web TV episodes begins, check out the finalists who will be the stars of the show.
The show follows the week-long bootcamp which put our finalists through their paces to find a winner of the £10K prize money.
And our last but not least finalist is Sophie.
Sophie Barnes is another city-dweller who fell in love with farming and has just enrolled at agricultural college.
She’d like to develop a business combining production, retail and rural tourism, clearly a lady with a lot of ideas.
Sophie would spend the winnings on renting a plot of land to rear rare breed sheep, an animal she loves.
For her, the experience of bootcamp was “Wonderful, inspiring, motivational”.
She has a lot of fun at bootcamp – she didn’t stop laughing all week and neither did she stop talking about her obsession with sheep. And a certain shepherd, apparently.
