Meadow Foods ups farmgate price by 1p/litre

Dairy company Meadow Foods is increasing its producer milk price by 1p/litre from 1 July, taking the price above 24p/litre.

All 520 supplying farms will benefit equally from the move.

However, the increase came with a warning from Meadow, of Chester, that it can only be sustained if other milk buyers make a similar move.
