Milk Link scoops trophies at cheese show

Nantwich International Cheese Show saw dairy co-op Milk Link, the UK’s largest cheese manufacturer, take home six trophies and 48 individual medals.
After a successful run in the Royal Welsh Show, receiving 24 awards including the Reserve Supreme Champion prize, and bringing home nine awards from the Cheshire County Show, Milk Link beat 3,950 cheeses from 28 countries which also competed at Nantwich.
“Nantwich is the pinnacle of the cheese show season and I am delighted that Milk Link has performed so well across the board. The awards are a true testament to the skill and talent of our dedicated cheese makers,” said Neil Kennedy, chief executive of Milk Link.
Milk Link’s other creameries were also recognised for their top cheeses. Taw Valley and Cornish Country Larder picked up 25 awards between them including the Cheese Lovers’ Choice trophy.
