Andrew Muir © Daera Northern Ireland farmers have just two weeks left to apply for grant funding under the Sustainable Farming Investment Scheme (SFIS).

Daera says the £40m scheme is designed to help farm businesses improve efficiency and environmental performance across the livestock, arable and horticulture sectors.
The eligible item list is accessible as part of a simple online application system.
Grants will be offered based on a reference price for each item, which means that applicants do not have to provide quotes as part of their application.
The first application round will close after six weeks, with the scheme expected to be rolled out through a number of rounds over the next three to four years.
Farm businesses in Northern Ireland that have started an application but not yet submitted it are being urged to complete the process before the deadline.
