Savills announces new chief executive

Rural property firm Savills has appointed Jeremy Helsby as chief executive.

Mr Helsby, a member of the Savills board and chairman of the UK and European Commercial Business, will begin to take over operations in January following the retirement of current chief executive Aubrey Adams.

Mr Helsby will be fully appointed on 7 May.
