Trewithen Dairy to rebrand as Cornish Dairy Co

Trewithen Dairy is to rebrand as the Cornish Dairy Co this April.

This will mark a new chapter for the well-known craft dairy producer as it looks to strengthen its Cornish identity and accelerate national growth.

The change, announced by Ehrmann Cornish Dairy, will see new Cornish Dairy Co packaging, marketing and communications begin rolling out from next month, with products expected to appear on supermarket shelves nationwide from 22 April.

A new website will also launch as part of the transition designed to boost brand recognition and improve shelf standout across grocery retailers.

The rebrand follows a period of strong momentum for the Cornish dairy business, which reported sales growth of 11% in 2025 and significant increases in retail volume.

The company believes a clearer emphasis on its Cornish provenance will resonate more strongly with shoppers across the UK.

Prior testing also suggested the new identity connects well with consumers, with more than 60% choosing the updated branding over Trewithen Dairy.

Partnerships unchanged

Despite the name change, the company says its long-standing partnerships with Cornish farmers and commitment to quality will remain unchanged.

Emma Lawes, head of marketing at Cornish Dairy Co, said the new name better reflects the brand’s heritage and future ambitions.

“This rebrand is about celebrating who we truly are.

“We have always been proudly Cornish, and Cornish Dairy Co allows us to put that front and centre in a way that is clearer, bolder, and more meaningful for today’s shopper.”

Products will roll out across the full range during April and May, supported by marketing and social media activity nationwide.
