Cereals 2014: Charity auction big kit prizes revealed

Big crowds are again expected at a charity auction organised by Case IH, Claydon Drills and Mitas Tyres at Cereals 2014, where former England Rugby Union Captain Phil Vickery will be back as the star attraction.
Mr Vickery, a farmer’s son, will be present when three lots are sold in aid of The Prince’s Countryside Fund.
The fund gives grants to projects that help support the people who care for the countryside to secure a sustainable future for British agriculture and the wider rural economy.

The charity provides grants with the aim of improving service provision in rural areas, supporting rural enterprise and helping farming businesses, as well as providing training opportunities for young people and educating people about the value of the countryside.
Last year’s auction pulled in more than 1,000 visitors.
The three lots are:
- One year’s free use of a 160 Puma tractor, donated by Case IH
- Four Mitas 460/70R24 TI22 tyres (or winner’s choice of tyres at same or lower value)
- One season’s use of a 3m Claydon drill seed drill.
Mr Vickery will present the successful bidders with their winning lots on the Case IH stand (number H800-8) at 2pm on Wednesday 11 June.
Well-known auctioneer Bill King, director of Cambridge firm Cheffins, will wield the gavel.
