Dal-bo now offers 12.3m Rollomaximum cultivator

Last year’s wet weather has meant many farmers are putting their cultivation techniques under the microscope. Here’s one way to cover plenty of ground – the 12.3m version of Dal-bo’s updated Rollomaximum cultivator.
It’s also available in smaller 6.2 and 9.3-meter versions, all of which get a combination of spring-loaded rollers and cultivator tines to create a one-pass seedbed. Hydraulic rams make sure that weight is distributed evenly across the entire working width.
The standard configuration sees a crackerboard lead a suspended roller section to break up any large clods. Four rows of tines follow – these are spaced at 80mm, with 300mm between rows. At the back is a levelling board and rear roller to tidy up, but there is no option for attaching a seeder unit yet.
The horsepower-hungry 12.3m version requires 350hp on the drawbar and costs about £76,000, while the smaller 6.2m Rollomaximum needs less than 250hp.
