Nine years after it started up, Nottinghamshire company FarmGem says it is getting good success in eastern European and other countries. UK farmers account for the bulk of customers, says the company’s Cliff Buck, but the company is also attracting sales in places like Poland, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Greece and Uzbekistan.

It has also diversified into a new range of orchard and vineyard machinery, including mounted and trailed mist-blower sprayers, heavy-duty mulcher/choppers and harvest platforms. The adjustable scissor-lift maintenance platforms give users an exact working height so that they can operate safely without overreaching.
