There may be upwards of 30 trailer makes available in Britain, but that doesn’t mean that other makers aren’t looking at the UK market.
Lithuanian maker Umega didn’t have a stand at the Grassland & Muck show but sales manager Konstantin Salnikov there to announce that it plans to offer its trailers over here.
It already sells to central and eastern markets and makes about 750 trailers a year.

The firm already has a dealer in the form of James Price in Devon and says it can provide well-priced trailers with the right spec for the UK market.
So 600mm extensions, sprung drawbars, hydraulic rear doors and commercial axles are all available.
