Lamma 2015: Agriwash vehicle washer keeps biosecurity standards high

If you’re a pig or poultry farmer wanting to ensure you have the highest biosecurity standards, the recently-launched Rhino Defender vehicle washer from Crewe company Agriwash could well be of interest.
It’s an automatically operated vehicle wash with surface-mounted ramps, a disinfecting deck/capture tray, side screens and a header tank that comes supplied with a disinfectant delivery and dosing pump.

The disinfectant is delivered under high pressure and targeted at the tyres and underbody of all road-going vehicles.
The entry-level model is intended for use on small-scale operations such as poultry growers and larger capacity options are available for more industrial applications such as cattle studs.
A single-phase power supply and mains water connection is needed.
The cost of the Defender is £12,000-15,000 depending on spec.
